For the third year, K-Lynn the specialist lingerie boutique, is launching its community campaign “Taking the K-Lynn Pledge” as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, in association with Cosmopolitan Middle East magazine and their #CosmoCommits campaign – and this year, the activation has gone digital.
The K-Lynn Pledge encourages the women of the Middle East to get regular check-ups and screenings where necessary; taking care of themselves and their bodies – as well as supporting the women in their lives.
For the first time, women across the region can now take the K-Lynn Pledge on the K-Lynn website www.klynn.com, meaning that everyone can pledge to look after themselves and the women in their lives, wherever they may be based. The K-Lynn Pledge button will be live from 1-31 October, in line with the activations taking place on ground in the UAE.
“2013 is the third year of the K-Lynn Pledge,” says Tanya Ivin, Marketing Manager of K-Lynn Lingerie. “As part of this annual drive, we want to ensure that we can share the integral concept of the K-Lynn Pledge to women across the region, allowing everyone to take the K-Lynn Pledge, which is why we have introduced the Pledge button on the K-Lynn website www.klynn.com. We’re delighted to be activating the K-Lynn Pledge in association with Cosmopolitan Middle East magazine’s Cosmo Commits campaign, raising awareness about breast cancer care, as well as running bra donation activations across our UAE stores.”
It’s an interesting initiative, but too bad it’s just for the UAE, hope in the years to come something like that will cover Lebanon also.
