While almond oil is a popular natural skin treatment, almonds also have some powerful skin benefits when you eat them regularly.

1- Cleanse and Eliminate Toxins in Your Body

Almonds contain beneficial antioxidants which will actively cleanse and eliminate toxins and free radicals in your body. If you want to cleanse your skin pollution, you can eat this nut frequently. This is helpful because the antioxidant components in almonds will actively cleanse pollution in your body, making your skin smooth and glowing from inside.

2- Major Source of Vitamin E

Vitamin E is so beneficial for skin due to the way it protects the collagen and elastin proteins that ‘glue’ your skin cells together from free radical damage. Collagen and elastin are vital for firm and young-looking skin. The more they break down, the more tired and dry your skin will look, eventually leading to fine lines and wrinkles.

Eating almonds regularly can help provide protective vitamin E to your skin’s cells and keep it looking younger for longer. Perhaps think of a bag of them as a natural and tasty nutritional facelift 😉

3- Help Cure Acne, Pimples, Zits, Blackheads, and Whiteheads

One of almonds skin benefits will be useful for most acne sufferers because almonds can reduce the appearance of acne, along with blackheads and whiteheads.

When treated regularly with almonds oil, your acne will gradually disappear. If you have many pimples that are hard to eliminate, you can use almonds to cure your pimples.

If your pimple has left behind its scar, massage gently with almond oil over the scar to help lighten it. Another way to use it is by mixing almond oil, honey and lemon juice with some milk and applying on the scar. Use this for a week to make it fainter in appearance.

4- Reduces Tanning

Undue sun exposure can tan the skin and make it look darker than your complexion. To remove this layer of tan, make a paste by adding almond oil, honey, lemon juice and milk powder. Apply on the affected areas for about 20 minutes and use it weekly twice to see visible results. This will also help restore lost moisture of your skin.

5- Cure Constipation and Smooth Your Digestive Process

We know that digestive system is important for our skin health. Smooth digestive system will immediately cleanse the toxins from our body. When we have constipation problem, the entire digestive process would be disturbed. Almonds can help cure constipation and smooth your digestive process, making your skin glow healthier every day.

I’m glad you found it useful 🙂
Through my readings, I have found that for average people, a serving of 30 almonds a day reduces hunger pangs and doesn’t cause weight gain.
