I had a call yesterday from an old friend Imad Bazzi asking me to go on his radio show فيا و ما فيا on Al Jadeed FM (90.3 FM) suggesting activities to be done indoors during the stormy weather.
These are the activities I suggested:
– Go to the Mall:
For the shopping addicts out there, the stormy weather won’t stand behind you and your favorite shops. You can choose the closest mall to your location and wander for a long time… you won’t even feel the wind nor the rain 😉
– Go the Movies:
For the movies geeks out there, you can always enjoy the latest movies in cinemas! Movie theaters are well heated, and you can enjoy your movie with your cheese and caramel popcorn 😉
– Go for a Coffee/ Tea:
If you’re just in the mood for sitting back, doing nothing, hanging around with your besties, the best thing you can do is head to your favorite cafe and chill out. You can also bring your favorite book or laptop.
– Go to the Gym:
Yup, I can hear you saying, Nooo it’s too cold!
But No, i’m a gym freak and I also enjoy the gym in winter. Believe me, lifting weights will heat your body up making you forget all about the wind and hail outside!
– Just stay at Home!
If you’re too lazy, and don’t feel like getting out of your pajamas, you can always stay at home, watch your favorite DVD, enjoy your favorite wine and roast some chestnuts.
